Brisbane Ranges Project to build a kangaroo fence

Fencing: Conventional kangaroo fence; 1.8m high all-steel ringlock fencing & steel posts
Terrain: The edge of the Brisbane Ranges; rocky terrain, undulating country with steep gorges and multiple river crossings
In 2014, Yaloak Estate management in collaboration with Melbourne Water, fenced off 3.5 km of Spring Creek; the Yaloak Estate south western boundary with the Brisbane Ranges. This was to secure the boundary and reduce the loss of pastures to kangaroos. Euroka Fencing designed a 1.8m all-steel fence using all Waratah fencing products.
The fence was completed in three months and, with ongoing maintenance, has proven to be successful.
